…and that’s what Ummah Films is all about.

Instead of lamenting the state of today’s entertainment industry, we’re setting out to make a difference by creating high-quality, uplifting movies, television programming, and other forms of entertainment. We believe we can do this – and still be entertaining.

We can’t exactly overthrow the huge machine that is mainstream Hollywood, but we can work to provide alternative entertainment that’s clean and fun – free of the profanity, nudity, and violence that dominates film and even television today.



Adnan F. Siddiqui – Writer, Director
Recognizing a huge need for family-oriented, haram-free entertainment, and disturbed by the prevailing negative view of the Muslim lifestyle, Adnan enrolled in University of Southern California’s prestigious filmmaking school to develop the skills he would need to make a difference. His focus with Ummah Films is to apply that knowledge and talent into creating films that depict Islamic values and the Muslim lifestyle in a positive light.

Ali Ardekani (Baba Ali)– Executive Producer
Ali discovered a passion for the entertainment industry early on, and has honed his skills developing past Ummah Film projects as well as marriage/relationship videos, quality children’s programming, and even a popular Muslim board game. Ali is dedicated to promoting positive messages for all communities in the world (Muslim and non-Muslim), to promote a safe environment for all societies.

Yusuf Chowdhury – Marketing Strategist
Yusuf recognizes the necessity to create awareness and positive worldwide interaction for the religion of Islam, and manages and maintains the operation of Ummah Films in order to do his part. Yusuf is also actively involved in social media and online marketing strategies, and has organized, planned, and overseen the execution of many varied projects. He also arranged interviews and organized agendas for national and international events. His focus with Ummah Films is to develop and implement new ideas to improve the company and take it to national and international levels.
